A Tamil wedding told across two days at Universal EventSpace in Vaughan. The detail in the rituals is extraordinary, layer upon layer of meaning, and my instinct on a day like this is always to slow the film down and give each moment the room it deserves.
Two days really means two films in one, and the trick is to shoot them so they feel like chapters of the same book.
Across two days
I kept a consistent visual language across both days on purpose: the same lenses, the same patient pacing, the same low and quiet position at the front. The ceremony on the second day ran for hours, and every minute carried weight. The final film runs longer than most I deliver, and a celebration this rich earns the extra few minutes.
